AI product video: build a three-shot edit from one photo

Give each shot one job

One ambitious prompt gives you little control over a complete product edit. Split the deliverable into an opening, a detail and an end card so you can reject a flawed clip without discarding the whole sequence.

The worked brief is a blue ceramic mug on a plain table. You need a product photo you may use, a short list of accurate product details, and an editing tool for assembling clips and adding approved text. The workflow below does not assume that Muvi provides every editing or export function.

Prepare the source and acceptance checklist

Use a photo that shows the rim, handle and surface clearly. Leave room around the object for the intended frame, and check the upload control's supported image types, size and dimensions before submitting.

Record the details that must survive: the handle stays on the right, the glaze stays blue and the mug does not gain a logo. If the product has text, keep the original artwork available for the edit. Review the selected model's current settings rather than copying resolution or duration claims from a provider's product page.

Plan the opening, detail and end card

• Opening: show the whole mug with a small push-in. The viewer should be able to identify the product before the cut.
• Detail: use a fixed view of the rim and glaze. If your photo does not show the required detail clearly, take a closer photo instead of asking the model to invent it.
• End card: use the approved product still and add your message in an editing tool. Keep exact logos and offer text under editorial control.

Use the uploaded blue ceramic mug as the starting composition. Show the whole mug on the table with the handle on the right. Make a small, slow push-in, keeping the camera at the same height. Soft daylight, plain background, no cuts. Keep the mug shape and blue glaze consistent. No new text or objects.

Approve clips before assembling the edit

• Inspect the first, middle and last frames against the source. Reject changed handles, bent rims, drifting labels and invented objects.
• Watch the whole clip for a sudden angle change or a cut you did not request.

• Save the accepted clip using the output controls available to your account. Assemble the opening, detail and still end card in your editing tool, then inspect the actual exported file.

Review the final edit at its delivery size. Confirm that text can be read and that cropping has not hidden the product. If a job remains pending, check its status before sending another request.
